Privacy Policy

Contraption Lab does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
What the app stores
The app saves a small amount of data on your device so the game works the way you'd expect between sessions:
- Which levels you have completed, and the fewest parts you used on each.
- The contraption you left half-built on a level.
- Your sound, music, and haptics preferences.
This is stored on your device using iOS's standard app preferences. It contains nothing that identifies you.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your level completions and star ratings sync between your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That data goes to your private iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it and no server of our own. Signing out of iCloud, or turning iCloud off for Contraption Lab in Settings, stops this — the game continues to work entirely on-device.
What the app does not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services.
- No tracking, and no data shared with anyone for any purpose.
- No network requests, other than the iCloud sync described above.
- No access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
Children
Contraption Lab is suitable for children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Deleting your data
Settings → Reset All Progress inside the app erases your completions, stars, and saved boards. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
